A special thanks to all the guys at the Redland Airfield, Skydive London group (Russ in particular) for making my first tandom skydive such a fantactic day.

I said that I would never do it based on what I am like on a Mini-Moto but a buckled under the pressure of Pete’s upcoming birthday and joined in on what turned out to be an eventful yet FANTASTIC evening ‘racing’ my baby around the Brands Hatch Indy circuit. We could not have asked for better weather conditions and it was good to see that by no rolling off the throttle until the very last minute, I was able to hold my own against all those 1 litre machines out there (that includes Pete !!).

For reference, I found Paddock Hill not to be anywhere near as scary as Graham Hill. That is unless you try it at 90 mph, at which point the back where tended to not track the same line as the front… just a little worrying.

Well worth the £79 entry fee if you ask me, so go and book yourself on the next Focused Events track session !
